National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA)
The National Adult Literacy Agency is an independent charity committed to making sure people with literacy and numeracy difficulties can fully take part in society and have access to learning opportunities that meet their needs. NALA assisted CSO in developing and promoting the “Step-by-Step Guide to Filling in the Census 2011 Form”.
National Council for the Blind in Ireland
NCBI is a not for profit charitable organisation which provides support and services nationwide to people experiencing sight loss. NCBI advised and assisted CSO in the development of Braille and large print versions of the census form to assist people experiencing sight loss with Census 2011.
Pavee Point Travellers’ Centre
Pavee Point is an Irish non-governmental national Traveller organisation, committed to human rights for Irish Travellers. The group consists of Travellers and members of the settled community working together in partnership to address the needs of Travellers.
Pavee Point worked in partnership with CSO to advise and assist in raising awareness of the census among travellers, including the production of an information DVD for Travellers.
