A large force of temporary field personnel will be recruited to facilitate the running of Census 2027. The country will be divided into 46 designated regions. Each region is made up of between 8 to 13 field districts. The field force structure will be as follows:
As a Census Regional Supervisor, you report to a Census Liaison Officer and are responsible for the successful delivery of Census 2027 in your assigned region. This includes managing a team of 10-13 Census Field Supervisors.
The rate of pay will be €38,419 annual equivalent. The contract duration is 19 October 2026 to 18 June 2027 (therefore the pay will be on a pro-rata basis).
You will be expected to work from your home.
There is a single recruitment competition for both the Census Liaison Officer and Census Regional Supervisor roles. You may apply for either or both roles. The applications will be shortlisted once the competition closes, and shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview. Applicants who are successful will be placed on a panel. The six highest scoring interviewees (who applied for both roles) will be appointed as Census Liaison Officers, while the next 46 highest scoring candidates, within geographical regions, will be appointed as Census Regional Supervisors.
